Blog #5 mix and match
When it comes to designers many people have there opinion. well I feel that you can and should mix designers. If you find a top from guess but pants match but you not in love with them then why buy them. If you buy that top and you find a gucci skirt to match that you love, you got your top and your bottums they match so noone has to know. I feel that theres a limit to that tho, when you are shopping for a swim suit I feel that it should be from the same designer. A designer will normally put in clothes in a line that you can mix and match.if a person doesn’t feel like you should mix and match then they don’t have to. The more u mix the more outfits you have. Some things can also be used next year by doing that.

Do's an Don'ts of Wearing Holiday Motif Clothing

Holiday clothing is a hard subject to go on, but since Christmas is right around the corner why not?!? When picking holiday clothing people say that looks ugly and in my opinion for most people that’s correct.
When I think of holiday clothes I think age wise. First is the little girls in the red dresses and the boys in slakes and their reindeer sweaters. For a teen I think that we just go for a pair of jeans and a hoodie because it’s a little embarrassing. It’s embarrassing because most teens don’t want to be seen as a child, and that’s exactly what it looks like. I think people like 30- 45 dress semi casual in jeans and a holiday sweater. Then senior cetaceans are all in it with the sweaters and their earrings are like snowmen and what-not.

In my opinion the only people that should be dresses up are children and my grandparents. I remember my mom making me wear the dresses. When I was 10 I hated dressing like a girl. So the child should have some say and remember it winter so don’t forget to dress warm.
During the holidays people through fashion out the window the second they put on the reindeer shirt. There is a way to pull off a holiday look without looking like Santa dressed you himself. For teen boys they can put on jeans and a button up shirt and a sweater that is red black or grey. For girls they can where their skinny jeans with boots and sweater that are one color and form-fitted.

colors blog 3

spring

Every day you get up before you get dressed you think what to wear but even more you think what colors I should wear. Well to get the right answer you have to ask and answer a few more questions. First question you should ask is what season is it. For every season there are colors you would wear to stay in fashion. For winter the colors you would choose from are black, white, red, Beige, green, pink, and blue. If you’re in spring you might choose one of these colors Snorkel Blue, Freesia, Daiquiri Green, Croissant, Rococco Red, Silver Gray, Spring Crocus, Cantaloupe, Pink Mist,  or Golden Olive. If its summer you would look at colors like yellows, blues, greys, greens, beige, and red. If it is fall you might go with Endive, Golden Glow, Living Coral, Lipstick Red, Purple Orchid, Chocolate Truffle, Lagoon, Woodbine, Oyster Gray, and Rose Dust.
After you no what season and colors that you have to choose from you ask yourself what colors would go well with my skin tone? You're probably a warm if you have dark brown or black hair, deep red or auburn hair, reddish or golden brown hair, brown or green eyes, and olive or golden skin, beige skin or you have skin that tans easily. Which means you could were colors like Red, Peach, Orange, Golden yellow, Golden brown, Olive green, Gold jewelry. If you’re in the cool colors then you might have light to medium brown hair, light green, hazel or blue eyes, grey or blue-grey eyes, natural blond hair, fair or pale skin or skin which burns easily. That means the colors that look best on you are red (cherry red), pink, blue, teal, turquoise, purple, mint green and silver jewelry.

summer
fall

winter

Keeping in mind your seasons let’s say its fall. I have dark brown hair, hazel eyes and my skin is fair so I’m more of a cool color person. So that means I can pick form Living Coral, Lipstick Red, Purple Orchid, Lagoon or Woodbine. So I take the colors for fall and I cross them with the cool colors and that’s how I would get my outfit

Fashion on the Dime

In today’s economy peop le are always worrying about every penny. Many people think that to be fashionable you have to be rich. I’m telling you that that’s not true. All stores try to keep up with the latest fashions. So if you can’t afore Calvin Klein or Armani it’s ok. If you look for designer brands there are outlet stores that will buy their over stocked clothes and sell them to you for a fraction of the price. Many people today only wear designer clothes. Well to tell you the truth, you could be buying something with a big label that was made in the same factories that a brand like Wal-Mart might get there clothes made in.

In today’s economy not many people can spend a pay check on a wallet. But you can buy many things that look close to the brand for like $10. My suggestion is that when you go shopping make a list. A list of the colors and types of clothes you are looking for and to also keep an open mind about the labels. Go to the sales rack first cause you never know what you’ll find. Try to look for clothes that will work with the clothes you have so you save even more. You should never have to sacrifice fashion because of your budget.

How Music Affects Fashion Blog 1

In today’s society everyone wants to look like a pop star. Women today want to look like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus. Katy Perry’s music describes her style and influences the way she dresses. Her new Song “Teenage dream “states “I might get your heart racing in my skin-tight jeans be your teenage dream tonight" is the perfect example of how she dresses. Katy Perry has a lot of influence on teenagers because of her fame and music. She is a beautiful strong woman who wants to stand out in a crowed and her fashion says that. The more a person likes an artist the more they want to look like them.
Taylor Swift is my personal Idol she never looks under dressed even when she is. In her music is very country pop and that’s what her style is like. She takes a gown and puts cowboy boots on them and it is fashion. Her music she can mesh two worlds into one. Miley Cyrus has a big effect over how younger children dress. Miley has this because she was Hannah Montana and unfortunately she took her style and made it to mature for the age group that idolizes her. I mean I get that’s she’s trying to find herself and she was treated like an adult at a young age. She may have crossed a line but what teenager doesn’t? I thought her lined at Wal-Mart isn’t bad for younger children and teens their affordable clothes that she herself wears. Pete Wentz is another great person that meshed his music and clothes. He sells for both male and females.
